Tour part- I (Ballooning)
Transfer to the balloon launch site from your hotel at early morning before the sun has risen. It takes about maximum 30 minutes depending on your hotel location. Enjoy pre-flight tea while the balloon is being prepared the flight by the crews after you have arrived to the location where one of our watchfully selected launch sites. After a safety briefing by the pilot of the flight, you will be invited in to the basket. The balloon holds 4-8 passengers in partitions of 2 people with the pilot in the middle, designed to deliver continuous views of the Mandalay city below. Lifting off you will fly over the city and its sites for 45-60 minutes. The pilot will fly at different heights allowing you to have views from high above together with falling down low to wave to the approachable locals. Upon landing you will be served a celebratory glass of sparkling wine and the pilot presented with a certificate of flight. Then you will be dropped back at the certain meeting point (local Tea shop) where your tour guide will wait for the additional day tour.
Tour part- II - Innwa (Ava)-Sagaing-Amarapura Tour
After early balloon ride experience, you can visit three ancient Royal Capital of Myanmar in the same day. You can visit many historical monuments, a thousand of Buddhist monasteries and Nunneries. Panoramic view from the Sagaing hill and rural area always attract to travelers to come there. Then proceed to Ava (aka INNWA) to visit the historical building and to discover the local life. Sunset at U Bein bridge will be included in this day tour while you are visiting with professional tour guide and transportation is arranged.
Our tour guide is awaiting at a certain meeting point to offer you local taste breakfast at the native tea shop and then continue for sightseeing. At the tour starts, our tour guide will give you the brief explanation about the trip. Drive to Sagaing where you can reach by crossing the Ayeyarwaddy on the busy new bridge. See uncountable white-and-gold Stupas shimmer on waves of low green hills and the whole scene is enthralling. The views from the Sagaing hill is stunning and also amazing. To visit “Thakyadithar” Nunnery, we should arrive about 10:30 and see the nuns queuing for lunch around 11:00 am in complete silence, looking straight ahead and clutching their bowls. Silver-ware workshop can be found in Ywa-Htaung village in Sagaing. Various kinds of silverware such as jewellery, bowls, trays, boxes and Buddha images are made. Transfer to Ava jetty and have your lunch after crossing small river by ferry boat.
Afternoon proceed to inside of Ava on a horse (pony) cart for a visit. Once there, you will visit the MahaAungmyaybonsan Monastery, and the Nanmyint Tower, known as the "leaning tower of Ava", before heading to Bargayar monastery. Finally, you will continue to Amarapura, where you can explore the silk-weaving factories and then again to U Bein (a wooden bridge) to enjoy the locality and beautiful sunset.
