About me

I am Anne de Jong (26), a passionate change maker and fascinated by the tourism industry. Wanting to contribute to a futureproof tourism industry, I support tour operators and destinations to become more resilient and sustainable.
My main focus lies upon working towards sustainable and profitable businesses and destinations while making a positive impact on local communities and the environment. I emphasise on making sustainability easier, more accessible and attractive.

The Good Tourism Institute helps tour operators become the best version of themselves. Learn how to support local communities, build long lasting relations with customers and employees, and offer unique experiences. All in a sustainable way.

Fair Sayari (founder)

Fair Sayari is a consultancy business focused upon the practical implementation of sustainability in tourism. I believe that sustainability is the ultimate way to create a futureproof tourism industry and a win-win situation for everyone.

Travelife for Tour Operators

As account manager for African tour operators I am responsible for guiding tour operators through the Travelife certification process and help them to implement more sustainability practices. I am also involved in hosting trainings abroad and promote Travelife on international tourism trade fairs.

Green Destinations

Africa Coordinator, coach and trained auditor for destinations on the African continent who want to work on sustainable development and towards GSTC accredited Green Destinations certification.

Better Places

Better Places Travel is an online travel platform with a high sustainability focus. For 1,5 years I have supported the team in operations and sustainability projects.

Interests and Activities

I love active sporting, especially cycling (uphill climbing). Interested in theatre and music in general and also been active in these fields. In work combining things in a creative and operational way is always a challenge to me.

www.emeraldforesthotel.eu             A virtual hotel, called Emerald Forest Hotel, as core of ma business game. Over 10.000 participants. Running in Estonia, Lithuania, England, Germany, Latvia, and the Netherlands

After holding several management positions in tourism, Berry ter Horst founded his own company: PANGEA Travel, a tour operator for custom made trips to Asia and Africa. Products were sold through their website. After more than 15 years of successful operation, he sold his company in 2018. Berry is now a volunteer for PUM senior experts and a volunteer at a hospice, where people spend the last phase of their lives.

Berry visited Myanmar in 2009 for the first time. Most recently he was in Myanmar in February 2020 for a PUM-mission.

  1. မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးအတွင်း ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်းနယ်ပယ်တွင် အမှန်တကယ်လက်ရှိလုပ်ကိုင်နေသူများအား ဦးစားပေးရွေးချယ်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
  2. သင်တန်းသားများသည် သင်တန်းမတက်မီတွင်  Zoom account  ကိုဖွင့်လှစ်ထားရန်လိုအပ်ပြီး  အသုံးပြုရန်အဆင်သင့်ဖြစ်နေရပါမည်။
  3. သင်တန်းသားများသည်လျှောက်လွှာများကို အချက်အလက်များပြည့်စုံစွာဖြည့်စွက်၍ Myanmar Upper Land (MUL) website တွင် ဖော်ပြထားသောအောက်ပါ online Form မှတဆင့် (သာ) လျှောက်ထားရမည်။
    မှတ်ချက်။ E-mail မရှိပါက (email နေရာတွင် [email protected] ဟုရေးရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး) Viber No  ပေးရန်လိုအပ်ပါသည်။
  4. လျှောက်လွှာများကို သတ်မှတ်ထားသောရက်အတွင်း အချိန်မီလျှောက်ထားရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ရွေးချယ်ခံရသူ ၁၅ ဦးအား သင်တန်းတက်ရောက်ခွင့်ပြုကြောင်း Confirmation Email ပေးပို့၍ အကြောင်းကြားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ 
  5. သင်တန်းတက်ရောက်ခွင့်ရရှိသူများထံသို့ သင်တန်းမစမီ ၂ ရက်အလိုတွင် Remote Coaching (Zoom) link ကို အီးမေးလ်မှတဆင့် ပေးပို့မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
  6. အခမဲ့သင်တန်းဖြစ်သည့်အားလျော်စွာသင်တန်းသားများသည် သတ်မှတ်ထားသော သင်တန်းချိန်အတိုင်း အတိအကျတက်ရောက်နိုင်ရမည်။ ခိုင်လုံသောအကြောင်းပြချက်မရှိဘဲ သင်တန်းပျက်ကွက်သူများကို သင်တန်းဆက်လက်တက်ရောက်ခွင့်ပြုမည်မဟုတ်ပါ။
  7. Remote Coaching အချိန်အတွင်း  Video ကိုစတင်ချိန်မှ ပြီးဆုံးချိန်အထိဖွင့်ထားရမည်ဖြစ်သော်လည်း အသံ (MIC) ကိုမူ (မိမိစကားပြောချိန်မှအပ) သင်တန်းချိန်တလျှောက်လုံးပိတ်ထားရပါမည်။
  8. ပိုမိုထိရောက်၍အကျိုးရှိသောသင်တန်းဖြစ်စေရန်အလို့ငှာ သင်ကြားမည့်ခေါင်းစဉ်အလိုက် နေ့စဉ်မေးခွန်း (အနည်းဆုံး တစ်ခု)  ကိုကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်လာပြီး  Q & A အပိုင်းတွင် သင်တန်းသားအားလုံး အလှည့်ကျ မေးခွန်းမေးရမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
  9. သင်တန်းပြီးဆုံးသွားပါက MUL မှသင်တန်းတက်ရောက်မှုနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ Feedback များကို E-mail မှတဆင့် ကောက်ယူသွားမည်ဖြစ်ရာ ပြီးပြည့်စုံအောင်ဖြည့်စွက်ပေးရန် သင်တန်းသားများအားလုံးအားကြိုတင်မေတ္တာရပ်ခံအပ်ပါသည်။
