Our guide will lead you, and this cycling tour certainly makes for an active holiday, but there will still be plenty of opportunities in which to relax and soak up the culture and history of around Mandalay, Monywar, and Bagan. With so much to see and experience of ‘real’ Myanmar and connected with friendly local in Myanmar, time to get booking that trip.

Mandalay arrival day
Welcome by our guide upon your arrival at the Mandalay International Airport or bus terminal or train station. Please look for the Myanmar Upper Land |culture & travel (MUL) signboard with your name on it. Then transfer to your hotel to check in. Today you will have a chance to fix your bike and make ready for tomorrow. Your guide will give you a briefing on the trip at your hotel.

MANDALAY – MINGUN- MANDALAY
We will start the tour in the early morning 6:00 am and proceed to Mingun with a stop at the morning impression of U-Bein Wooden Bridge. After visiting Mingun, we catch a boat for a relaxing cruise along the Irrawaddy River to Mandalay. You will have a few hours relaxing at your hotel and then continue at 3:00 pm to the foot around Mandalay Hill by bike before you go up to the top of Mandalay for the sunset.

Early morning drives toward Monywar and stops at one of the villages to start for biking. On arrival to Monywar have lunch at the restaurant and go to the jetty. Then continue biking to Pho Win Taung cave. After visiting the Cave, the car is waiting. Then drive back to Monywa by car and check in hotel.

Monywa – Pakokku – Bagan
This Morning you will visit Thanbodday temple, Boditahtaung Pagoda before continuing drive to Yezagyo. Stop at Yezegyo and then continue by bike to Pakokku (45km). Lunch will be at a restaurant once reaching at Pakokku. After the meal, we take our private boat to Bagan from Pakokku. The car will be waiting for your transfer to the hotel and check-in.

It will be the perfect way to explore the temples of Bagan on your bike; we take a morning cycling around the Archaeological Zone before returning for a dip in the pool. We will head out again in the late afternoon to watch the sunset at one of the pagodas for beautiful scenery, zedis, and temples.

Optional activity: Early morning Balloon ride over beautiful Bagan on request and price will be advised.
Bagan – Mt. Popa
Today you will cycling up to Mt Popa and en-route stop at villages and palm gardens to see local life. Visit Popa soars 650 meters up out of the plains and you can see several nat (spirit) shrines and local pilgrims who come to honor the spirits. Then ride again to the hotel in Popa and relax for today.

Popa – Mandalay
At the morning drive to Pyinsi Village by the car crossing some local villages. Stop at Pyinsi Village and start biking towards Tadaoo village by the local motorway. Then get in the car again and continue to bring you back to Mandalay. There will be a time for the massage or stroll through along the moat of the Mandalay Palace before the last dinner.

We suggest you to carry Helmet and need to ware suitable uniform for biking. Shorts or sleeveless tops and shoes are not allowed to enter place of Pagodas and Religious area.
We operate this tour in privately as we, MUL considered to the privacy of the travellers and not sharing with other travelers. This tour start minimum of 2 pax.
We have three season in Myanmar, October to February is Winter (cold) season with average temperatures 20-24 C, March to May is Summer (hot) season with average temperatures 30-35 C) and June to September is the Monsoon (rainy) season, with high rainfall and average temperatures 25-30 C.
We offer this tour almost whole year and except raining season. The best season to do this tour is Winter season (Oct – Feb).
