Explore for major attractions in Myanmar touring about Myanmar culture, nature and the history. Your visit will start to Mandalay first and then to Bagan by boat. Next visit is to the southern Shan state, Green hill station including Pindaya limestone cave, short trekking and to learn about Inle lake for its distinguish feature. Visiting to Golden rock in Mon state will be before exploring to Yangon mainly to visit Shwedagon pagoda. You will cover the overview of the Myanmar with this tour on a budget.

Yangon Arrival - Mandalay
On arrival at Yangon airport our tour guide will pick you up and he/she can help you to change your first kyats (Myanmar currency). Then transfer to the hotel for check in ( for day use only) and you have free time to take a rest. In the evening you will be transfer to the bus station to take a night bus (Express bus with air-con) to Mandalay.

Mingun – Mandalay
Early Morning you will arrive to Mandalay and our car will pick you up at the bus station. Then proceed to Mahamuni pagoda to see the morning life of the local people who worshipping at the pagoda. You can have your breakfast at one of the local tea-shop to see the tradition of the people from Mandalay who is sitting at the tea-shop every morning. Then drive to hotel for check in (depending on the room availability) and refreshment. After that continue drive to jetty to cash ferry boat to Mingun. Visit Mingun, the rural area where ancient buildings of pagoda and famous Mingun bell (second largest bell in the world) and MyaThein Tan pagoda is uniquely shaped. Then come back to Mandalay and lunch at restaurant with Shan foods. After that continue visit to the cultural heritage site near the Mandalay hill. The first to visit is Mandalay Royal palace located in the center of the city. Continue a visit to Golden Monastery famous for its carving, Athumashi monastery and Kuthodaw pagoda known as “The world biggest book”. And then get up on the top of the Mandalay hill to see the panoramic view of the city and enjoy sunset for the day.

Optional Night life: You could visit to the traditional Myanmar Marionettes show on your own payment (or) Chinese Night market especially for the food stalls (or) Quarter’s pagoda festivals of Mandalay if you have opportunity especially in the winter season.
Ava - Sagaing – Amarapura
Today your travel plan is to see the famous “Three Ancient Cities” around Mandalay. Firstly we go to Sagaing where a thousand of monasteries and numerous pagodas are located. You can enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the Sagaing hill, Nunnery a good place to see Buddhist nuns are lining systematically for lunch and Bamboo Buddha Statue. Then proceed to jetty to cross the small river by boat. Lunch will be at the restaurant in Ava and after that visit Ava on a horse cart. You will visit historical sights of Inwa such as Maha Aungmyabonsan Monastery well known as brick monastery built in early 19 th century, Nanmyint Tower will known as the “leaning tower of Inwa”, Bargayar teak Monastery with beautiful place, peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture . After that you will continue to Amarapura where you can enjoy the sunset on the longest teak bridge and silk weaving factory in Amarapura.

Mandalay – Bagan
Today you will have cruise trip from Mandalay to Bagan. Early morning you will be transferred to the jetty and start your cruise trip and you can see the local life and some rural villages, local people and beautiful scenery along the Ayeyarwaddy river. On arrival to Nyaung U jetty our car will pick you up and drive to your hotel in Bagan.
Overnight at hotel in Bagan. Mandalay to Bagan boat is only available in winter season and we will arrange by private car for other season.
Enjoy the historical and archeological zone of Bagan is the ancient city in central Myanmar. Visit Shwesigon pagoda where you can see Nat (spirit) images, Local market in Nyaung U, Ananda Temple; the masterpieces of the early style temple architecture of Bagan, Dhammayangyi pagoda; the most massive shrine, Lacquer ware local family workshop, fermented bean paste workshop etc.

Bagan – Aungban - Pindaya
In the morning transfer to bus station in Bagan and take local bus to Aungbun. On arrival to Aungbun about 3:00 pm our guide and car is waiting for you and continue drive to Pindaya. On the way you can see scenic beauty of hills, fields and local villages.

Pindaya – Yasakyi trekking
This morning you should be ready for a trekking trip to Yasakyi, (Palaung) village. Firstly you will arrive to Htut Ni (Danu) village after walking about 45 mns and to learn more a bout the tribe of Danu and their daily life. Then proceed to See Kya Inn (Palaung) village about 1.5 hrs and have your lunch at the village. After visit in the village and continue walk to Yasakyi (Palaung) Village for about 2 hrs. On arrival you have enough time to explore the village. Dinner will be arranged at the village.

Yasakyi – Pindaya trekking
After breakfast return walk to Pindaya and you will trek a different route. It is 1 hrs walk to Me Ne Taung (Paoh) village and visit around. Then proceed walk to Htin Hsu Gone (Danu) village grazing and evergreen scenery with an en-route. After that continue to Tapaw Gyi (Danu) village for about 1 hr and visit at the monastery. Lunch will be on the way or at the village. Then trek and back to Pindaya. At arrival to Pindaya visit to Shwe U Min cave and drive to Naung Shwe ( Inle).

Inle – Indein
Today you will visit to Indein, small village located on the western bank of the lake, then sightseeing. Come back to Inle lake and explore more about Inle lake. You may see the lovely and atmospheric Inle lake, leg rower boat fisherman, Phaung Daw Oo pagoda; a famous principal shrines with five Buddha images, silversmith workshop, Weaving from lotus fibres and cheroot making.

Inle – Yangon
In the morning you will be transferred to Heho airport and flight to Yangon. You will be picked at the Yangon airport by our guide and visit in the Yangon city. You can explore the city center where colonial buildings are located. Worth seeing including the Chaukthatgyi pagoda with the 65 m long reclining Buddha image, Karaweik Hall; the royal replica, Shwedagon temple complex; the largest temple in Myanmar is covered with a thick layer of gold leaf and brilliant gemstones.

Yangon – Golden Rock
In the morning we start the trip to Golden Rock where a uniquely Myanmar style spiritualism. On the way it is also possible to stop at world War II cemetery in Htaukkyant at outskirt of City. Drive to Kyaikhtiyoe base camp, then with the take local truck to get up top of the mountain where the rock is. And then visit the Golden Rock pagoda and around. Your tour guide will lead the trip for the whole day.

Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon
After check out at your hotel drown to base camp by truck and drive back. We will visit Bago on the way back to Yangon. You may visit local market, Kanbawza Thardipalace, Shwemawdaw pagoda and shwethalyaung pagoda depending on the time is allowed. Then continue drive to Yangon.

We suggest you to carry slipper and something to protect from the sun and the dusts. Shorts or sleeveless tops and shoes are not allowed to enter place of Pagodas and Religious area.
Trekking shoes should be ready for trekking days and raincoat is suggested if it is raining season ( June – September).
We operate this tour in privately as we, MUL considered to the privacy of the travellers and not sharing with other travelers. But solo traveler can still book for this tour with reasonable (solo) price by choosing 1 pax at our checkout page.
We have three season in Myanmar, October to February is Winter (cold) season with average temperatures 20-24 C, March to May is Summer (hot) season with average temperatures 30-35 C) and June to September is the Monsoon (rainy) season, with high rainfall and average temperatures 25-30 C.
We offer this tour almost whole year and except raining season. The best season to do this tour is Winter season (Oct – Feb).
