Day 1 : Mandalay – Sagging – Monywar

We start this tour by picking up at your hotel in Mandalay and drive to Sagaing for your optional short visit. During the brief visit in Sagaing, you can learn about Buddhist monastic life and well known as a retreat for Buddhist devotees. SwanOoPonnyashin pagoda, panoramic view from the Sagaing hill top, silversmith (producing silver wares in their way of tradition) and pottery making.
On the way to Monywar, you may see the firms and garden, local people who work in the fields and businesses. Continue to drive to Thanboddhay Pagoda mid 20-century temple whose multi roof layered with rows of golden 500,000 mini stupas and Huge Standing Buddha image, the second-tallest statue in the world is a high of 129 meters. This area is the crucial point of a sprawling site filled with Buddha statues, Bodhi trees, and pagodas, established in the 1960s. Then drive forward to the hotel in Monywar.
In the evening you have some time, and you may visit the local market, commercial center of the Chindwin valley and walk along the river bank.

- Between 30– 45 days before travel start date: 25% of the tour cost.

We have three season in Myanmar, October to February is Winter (cold) season with average temperatures 20-24 C, March to May is Summer (hot) season with average temperatures 30-35 C) and June to September is the Monsoon (rainy) season, with high rainfall and average temperatures 25-30 C.
