Kalaw

Kalaw City

Kalaw is located 70 km west of Taungyi and sits at 1.300 meters elevation. It is an old hill station with a laid back atmosphere, refreshing climate, scenic views and plenty of trekking opportunities. The population is a mix of Shan, Indian Muslims, Myanmar and Nepalis.

Traveling by car. it’s about two hours west of Nyaungshwe on the western edge of the Shan hills.
