We use Higher or Luxury hotels for our valuable clients to secure in every condition except under some experiential and local activities. If in case, the mentioned hotels are not available on your travel dates with the valid reasons, then we will try to maintain alternative hotels which are at the same level.

Anyhow, if you do not satisfy the HOTEL we provide though we fitted the prime one in every destination, you are still welcome to address in advance upon your preferences.

Itinerary

Day 01: Mandalay Arrival

Meal: (L)

On arrival at Mandalay airport, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to the Hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival timing, sightseeing can be varied to get a match with your desired place. There are many things to do in Mandalay. The most flexible schedule and nearby outstanding attractions are to go around Mandalay Hill, famous cultural Heritage site of Mandalay including the Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world’s most significant book, UNESCO cultural heritage site), and then go up to the hilltop (790 feet) to overlooks the entire city of Mandalay and feel the sunset. It is where visitors can see the ancient square of Mandalay’s Royal Palace, the many pagodas sprinkling the area, and more.

Day 02: Mandalay – U Bein Sunrise – Mingun

Meal: (B, L)

Get up early as our driver pick you up at 5:30 am and go to U Bein bridge for sunrise, not only for a gorgeous morning but very few tourist and preferably locals & monks crossing the Bridge to feel the first impression of rural Mandalay. It’s also to avoid crowds with hundreds of tourists in the sunset time there in the Bridge.
The visit to Mandalay’s extraordinary Mahamuni Pagoda after U Bein Bridge, to observe the culture of gold leafing in Myanmar. For your experience, men can place thinly hammered leaves of gold on the remarkable Maha Myat Muni Buddha statue housed at this locality.
Back to the Hotel for your breakfast (or) at Mandalay’s tea shop while you are studying the culture of it and how do the local people connected to the outside world as the tea shop serves as a hub for customers who come to chat on social factors.
Then again in Mandalay, where you’ll visit some optional unusual places for your local cultural experiences. You would have some option to learn about Myanmar Traditional Dance, Music and puppets (or) Learn about the city’s gold-leaf making industry, visit Mahamuni Pagoda, a marble workshop and other handicrafts shop.
Afternoon visit to Mingun, many will opt to travel for the Mingun area and take the private hour-long ferry ride to arrive at this riverside village on the famous Ayeyarwady River. There are some unique pagodas and historical monuments. Back to Mandalay at the time of sunset.

Day 03: Mandalay – Bagan

Meal: (B, L)

Check out from the Hotel first to continue your trip to Bagan. But you will visit first to the ancient cities Sagaing and Ava (Innwa). You will be transferred to Sagaing and around to visit the hilltop to wonder numerous Buddhist monasteries and is an important religious and monastic center. Then continue drive to Ava jetty and transfer by Boat to Ava. Take a horse cart ride and visit Bagaya teak wood monastery, Nan Myint Tower – 27 meters high and Maha Aung Myae Bon Zan monastery well known as Me Nu brick monastery. You can see the local village life of Ava on the horse cart. Our Private car will pick you up in Ava to continue the Airport. Then flight to Bagan and Check-in Hotel. Dinner at the outside of Hotel to explore what is Bagan’s nightlife of the ancient pagodas with its brightness.

Day 04: Bagan – Visit

Meal: (B, L, D)

Begin the morning early because Bagan sunrises should not be avoided (Still, it’s an option). Viewing the sunrise over the Bagan temples never gets forgotten. Our Local Guide will lead the proper place to see this. Then back to the Hotel for breakfast and refreshments. Start day visit the highlight of Bagan like Shwezigone Pagoda (Nat images can be found within its precincts), Nyaung U market, Ananda Temple (the masterpieces of the early style temple architecture of Bagan), Dhamayangyi pagoda (the most massive shrine). The next visit is the local family factory, such as Lacquerware local family workshop, fermented bean paste workshop, etc.
End your day in Bagan is to relax at your Hotel’s dinner place where they used to set the shore of the Irrawaddy River.

Day 05: Bagan – Pindaya – Inle

Meal: (B, L)

In the morning, after check out from the hotel transfer to the Airport by car and take the domestic flight to Heho. Welcome by our tour guide at Heho airport and transfer to Pindaya, where there have thousands of Buddha images crammed into the Pindaya Cave. Then head to Inle Lake where situated in Naung Shwe Township. A scenic route on the way to Pindaya and Inle Lake travels through to be a beautiful environment, with a view of mountains and rice fields. Dinner while sunset at your Hotel, floating resort of Inle Lake near Nam Pam village.

Day 06: Inle – Indein

Meal: (B, L, D)

Explore the Lake by Boat at Sunrise at your floating Hotel in the middle of the Inle Lake. After your breakfast, our tour guide will lead you to visit by Boat and soft trek along with the rural life of Kyae Paw Khon village and proceed to Indein village were famous for its significant small pagodas located on the west of the lake. Then continue the visit to Inle Lake, the unique environment, lovely and atmospheric Inle Lake, and leg rower boat fisherman. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, a famous principal shrine with five Buddha images that become the stone shaped by the sheer volume of gold leaf applied by devotees. Producing gold and silverware is a long tradition of Local people here around Inle Lake. And also you can visit weaving from lotus fibers, cheroot making, etc. Today you will discover many local traditional handicrafts and the ways of life there on your private Boat, which is the best way to experience Inle Lake.
Loaf around the pleasant restaurant near Inn Paw Khon village, where most away from the noise of motorized Boat, and feel the sunset there then dinner synchronically with famous local wine.

Day 07: Inle – Mandalay

Meal: (B, L, D)

This morning you will have to transfer to Heho airport by car and take the domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrival at Mandalay airport, our vehicle will pick you up and move to the Hotel for check-in.
In the late afternoon, you shouldn’t miss to view the Mandalay Palace and surround, its primary symbol and the heart of Mandalay. Palace itself is located in the middle of the moat and walks along the path of the moat. Then leave for your dinner.

Day 08: Mandalay departure

Meal: (B)

Today is the end of the day in Mandalay and to adjust your international departure time. Car and driver arrange airport transfer and will pick you up at your Hotel.

What is cancellation policy for this tour?

All cancellations made by travelers will be charged as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 45 days before travel start date: there is no charges.
  • Between 30– 45 days before travel start date: 25% of the tour cost.
  • Less than 30 days before travel start date (or) No-show: 100% of the tour cost.
  • The Government Tax (5%) is non-refundable.
Can I book this tour in last minute?

We say yes, and but it is subject to the availability. Advance booking is recommended for better and secure arrangement.  Please make Enquiry or Customized for this tour. Then we can get back to you with the information to help you book the tour.

What do I need to bring with me to do this tour?

We suggest you to carry slipper and something to protect from the sun and the dusts. Shorts or sleeveless tops and shoes are not allowed to enter place of Pagodas and Religious area.

I am solo traveler, can I book this tour?

We operate this tour in privately as we, MUL considered to the privacy of the travellers and not sharing with other travelers. Our mentioned price is based on 2 passengers for a bookng, but solo traveler can still book this tour  requesting for solo price by email (office@myanmarupperland.com).

Is vegetarian option available for this tour?

Yes Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required.

What is the best season to do this tour?

We have three season in Myanmar, October to February is Winter (cold) season with average temperatures 20-24 C, March to May is Summer (hot) season with average temperatures 30-35 C) and  June to September is the Monsoon (rainy) season, with high rainfall and average temperatures 25-30 C.

We offer this tour all year round and the best season to do this tour is Winter season (Oct – Feb).
